FIERCE, FABULOUS, FIESTY … words that describe the new FASHION ICON!

RAIN BATINGANA of the Philippines was tagged as the First-Ever Cross-Dressing Pinoy Model who ramped in the recently concluded Philippine Fashion Week 2011 was beautifuly clad in a Kenneth Chua ( Filipino Designer ) creation. The fashion event was held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Philippines. He is a native of Davao City, once dreamt to be a model and now it turns out to a reality… It is a simple dream that pushed him to the runway to showcase his talent as a “ramp model”.

The British Fashion Awards poppped up once again for their annual apreciation of designers world wide. It is surely an internation look even though it is a U.K Award. That notables that showed up Victoria Beckham, Elle MacPherson and Mary J. Blige. This prestigious award always go to those who push the envelope of fashion to the other edge. But still have a look that you can see on Red carpets and run ways from New York to Hollywood. My favorite is Victoria Beckham who has her own label which no one thought would succeed! I’m always a champion of the under dog no matter how rich they already are. Ha-ha! The end!

If you love designer replicas then you should be one of the many practical folks out there who have seen the savings they get out of being fashionable. Designer replicas are made to satisfy the need for individuals who love carrying designer labels couldn’t just afford to buy authentic ones.

If you look online you will see hundreds of different styles of handbags from every season. Replica designer watches are some of the most popular buys amongst all designer replicas, this is because accessories such as watches is good as a gift for different occasions.

Imagine giving someone dear to you a Rolex replica watch, they wouldn’t even have to know that you bought it on sale because the quality of these watches are good enough to last for a very long time, the way authentic pieces does.

The trick when looking for good designer replica is to look at the website you wish to purchase it from. If one website has been in selling these pieces for years then people must have supported their goodies that made them operate for years.

Another is their bonuses and perks. One perk that many websites offer is their “100% money back Guarantee”. This is a good assurance they do not offer anything less than what’s being marketed online. If a website has this, buyers would be able to have the product delivered, inspect them carefully in person, and then decide whether you like the quality or not. As buyers you wont be able to judge the quality through a bunch of photos, you need to see them and so websites that offers this feature, signifies that they are carrying the best designer replicas in the market.

Originating from the fashion capital of the world and spreading to all nations far and wide, style and class have etched for themselves their very own niche in the fashion fraternity. There are designer clothing’s, shoes, belts and a whole bunch of other accessories that help individuals amplify their personality levels and augment their style quotient. Leather handbags are the latest accessories that have taken the world by storm. They come in an aura of exquisite designs and patterns so as the meet the requirements and specifications of the end user. Their classic and contemporary look and dexterity gives them that added level of class and zing. Men and women from around the world that truly value great and genuine fashion have sought these cheap handbags as their persona enhancers.

Few of the top brands in the world manufacture the best of leather handbags. These cheap handbags are designed to meet with the requirements and specifications of their customers who end up paying great amounts to acquire these masterpieces. For many, a handbag may seem expensive. However, for a selected handful that value and appreciate quality over matter, they see it as a great fashion investment.

Over the decades, numerous Hollywood celebrities and entertainers have been seen sporting designer handbags with designs that are not only exclusive but exuberant as well.

Browsing the fashion scene you can’t help but notice the Milan and Paris Fashion Shows for 2010. It is always exciting and the styles may not be your main street look but there are a lot of new fashion designs to enjoy. I really got a laugh out of the The Twenty Most Ridiculous Looks From the Spring 2011 Men’s Collections on NY Fashion’s website. I have seen it all I thought but some of these designs were just so funny I almost peed myself! I guess when fashion designers get bored over the winter it can lead to disaster!

This year’s Cannes International film festival was as always brimming with stars. The outfits they wore were fantastic with so many paparazzi clicking away as they came and went from the showings. Interjected into the festival Mick Jagger and Paris Hilton hosted the AMfar Cinema Against Aids benefit. The proceeds from the event went to the foundation. We all got the treat of so many stars stepping down the red carpet in the latest black tie and beautiful gowns. I enjoyed the flowing gown that Fan Bingbing wore and the tux on Gerard Butler was very suave. It was a wonderful night for the beautiful people to help a worthy cause.

My friends who work in offices have to spend a lot of times shopping to find clothes that are suitable for a work environment. It’s kind of a hard thing to do because you want to look good but still be comfortable. When they ask me I usually recommend a good site of Women’s clothing like smarter.com. They have a real good selections of Women’s blazers. I like the one called Nikki Knit Blazer because its made by guess and they have good quality. This particular one gives you a business look but it still very feminine. That is sometimes hard to get in a blazer. They also have Women’s jumpsuits which go well with the blazer for either a casual look if its short or a longer one for a perfect office outfit. Be sure to check this site out if your looking for variety and good pricing. It is easy to use and well maintained.

You can really let time fly when you are a rocketing star like 2NE1! They have put in a wonderful year and now on their anniversary I can’t help but admire the splash they made in the fashion during the same time. They celebrated their one year anniversary with some texts to their fan base and I started to look at their outlets for the cool styles they made popular. I found a nice little site that had some of the dance style from their hit song Fire. The site polyvore.com helps you put together cool looks and shows you where you can buy the articles of clothing at great prices. No endorse here but a cool little site for you to check out! Tootles! (link)

I am really tired of all the same swimsuits coming out year after year with the same cut and nothing new! It is really a fashion disaster when you go the beach and five other girls are wearing your bikini. The bottoms are the worse. You can wear a thong, full panty, panty skirt or string bikini bottoms. Year after year was boring until I found something new on this website called lalalingerie.com. They have a lot of nice suits and traditional styles of swimwear that are reasonably priced but they also have something that is a little different.

I found the Gathered Bun Hugger Bikini Bottoms and just love them. I like to show that I have a nice butt and these do the trick without having to show yourself in a thong! I have never seen them before and I love the look. I got some in fuchsia pink and a regular sliding halter bikini top to match. The quality is good and they ship quickly. Just want to share the name because you girls know how hard it is to put together a great swimsuit!

Mumbai, India is sporting a new location of the high end fashion store, French Connection. Originating in Britain the French Connection is marketing to Indians with a taste for their bold looks for women that feature in the Spring fashion line, subdued nudes highlighted by bold Hawain prints.

India is continuing to take its place in the modern world with men and women both finding new trends in fashion outlets like the French Connection. Since India is one of the biggest producers of clothing they should be leading in fashion soon!

Many of you are just like me and have loved fashion from an early age. Even though I was a poor kid, I still loved to look at magazines and dress up my dollies when I was playing.

Many of you are just like me and have loved fashion from an early age. Even though I was a poor kid, I still loved to look at magazines and dress up my dollies when I was playing. Now that I am more matured, (maybe!) I realize that the sooner you start to think about a career in fashion the better chance you will have of making your dreams come true.

One thing you can do at any age is study the industry. You don’t have to own a computer to do this girls. Remember books? They are available for free in your local library and the history of fashion is well documented. Beyond books the library is full of magazine subscriptions to the major fashion rags. Should you have a computer at your disposal the sites that follow fashion are in the thousands. Find one that appeals to you and visit it often but remember to read the news not just look at the hot new looks. One day you will want to know the leaders in the fashion industry in the direction you want to go be it modeling, design or marketing.

When you are ready to make your future come true there are modeling schools you can attend. Don’t go with one of those that want you to pay for modeling lessons. When you have the right stuff to be a model the agencies will want you not your money so be cautious. Design schools are available in most major metropolitan areas and many offer scholarships for good students.

My advice is don’t just dream. Make a plan and set goals for yourself because not everyone who is successful in the fashion world got noticed when she was a gorgeous, long legged teenager. You got to make your own noise!

iPhone applications that focus on the fashion world are a huge hit. You can find a ton of them that provide have been developed by different companies to help users to keep tabs on the shows and the upcoming fall and spring fashions. There are also some that help with creating your own fashionable look. There are too many to mention them all but Style.com has one that gets updates from their Style File blog. Lucky magazine has one that let you view the editor’s favorite items and gives you a link to purchase it online.

I like the one from Lookz Lite, it is a .99 cent application that gives you videos on how to’s for beauty. D&G Fashion Channel has a very robust one that gives you access to that latest couture, videos from fashion shows and a map to the closest D&G boutique! Nice, right! So check them out!

Fashion Week is back in Bryant Park downtown Manhattan this week. The designers were featuring their new looks and the crowd was impressed! Mercedes-Benz sponsors these events and this one drew over 100,000 visitors. Pretty good for a down year, right? This event brings out the best designers in the fashion industry. The list includes designers Yigal Azrouel, Diane Von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Chado Rucci, Phillip Lim and a newcomer Narciso Rodriquez.

Spring collections were the main subject and nostalgia played a big influence on the designs. A theme of travel was the rule of the day and I loved the color of the dresses as well as the tight fits. Monique Lhuillier had my favorites with some business suits and party dresses that were very flattering on the models. Take a look at them below. All in all the Mercedes-Benz fashion shows continue to draw big crowds and the fashion is to die for! Check it out!
