Keeping track of celebrity hair color is a task any die-hard journalist would get years of material out of. Just like her music, Katy likes to keep her hair fun, spunky, and out of the ordinary. Her entire fashion ensemble screams that she is in it to party and have a good time unlike the Jonas Brothers who use their girlfriend’s promise ring as a tactic for marketing their albums.

Originally, Katy sported the traditional brunette hair that complimented her goddess-like looks. Her long locks screamed “classic beauty” and gave her a pin-up look that attracted girls because of the timeless factor and guys for other obvious reasons. Her, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga sparked a new craze for female singers because of their bold and fearless fashion choices.

Throughout 2010 and 2011, Katy has struggled to find a true ID for her hair. The cover of the California Gurls album shows her lounging out in a supermodel pose with a bright blue wig on top of her head. After the bright blue came a sort of fuschia pink color that looked like it came out of a hair spray can.

Recently Katy has ditched the over the top punk looks and settled on one that defines her chic and sensible side. People magazine reports that she appeared at a fundraiser thrown by David Lynch with a short blonde bob. This is a drastic transformation for the singer because we have never seen her without her long and luxurious hair.

Some say that her recent transformations are a guise to fool the media into thinking her marriage to Russel Brand isn’t running into a rough patch. She has just gotten a matching tattoo with her husband and both of them have been on a media tour claiming that everything is peachy betweeen the two. While the rumors may be surfacing, her style choices have earned her an actual Barbie doll based on her likeness.

The good thing about Katy Perry’s fashion sense is that it will always keep us guessing. Let’s hope that she has some fun with it without ending up shaving her head like Britney Spears did.

Amy Winehouse left us too early when she died in her London home but she left a fashion statement that was admired and copied constantly. She brought back the shapely styles of the early 60′s and an eye catching bee hive hair do that became her trademark. Her curvaceous body was ready made for tight tops showing clevage and skin tight jeans or short skirts to match.

Next is the 21-year-old Harry Potter’s leading actress who played the role as Hermione Granger, made her modelling debut with British luxury fashion house Burberry. Emma Watson is also challenging herself creativity and started taking fabric-cutting, design and sewing classes. Not to mention she’s already designed a line of T-shirts and wants to expand her skills to create bespoke evening wear.

Gaga is known for her love of eccentric fashion, she always comes up with weird yet stylish outfit which I find pretty clever. Gaga is one of a kind- I love her as an artist as she goes monster DD

“I really, really have such admiration for fashion designers and I’m such good friends with them. I’d love a fashion line when I stop making music for a while, for a year. But that’s not going to happen soon. I’m in love with song-writing right now.”

One of them has her displaying a beautiful classical look in as a Hollywood siren from the 30’s or 40’s. She pulls it off with her usual panache and the lines of the gowns and the temptress patterns of the material and awesumtistic! Never one to be pigeon holed she is also running a campaign in which she is a sexed up “biker chick” displaying ink all over her lovely body and wearing a blond beehive hairdo! Totally scrumptious!

Wow not only do they have the most boring reality show on television, hehe! Now they are launching a fashion line of their tacky clothes! How long can they stretch this no talent family into different venues? How can they make fashion clothes for the masses? I mean come on! Do normal people actually have boobs that big? I don’t think so! Well we will have to see what they come up with hopefully not the outfits they are wearing in this announcement they made in US magazine!

Whatever happened to people disappearing after their 15 minutes? Tell me can you imagine dressing like a Kardashian?

She may not have the most beautiful face but her body is awesome in this fully nude pictorial. Her interview is really honest about her early years in the music business and her addiction to cocaine. The photos are fantastic and I envy the photographer for their work in making Lady Gaga look so exotic and sexy yet vulnerable in her shots! Lady Gaga you make me gaga! haha=)

Twilight stars are hot in the fashion world in the recent news as they are everywhere talking on talk shows and making appearances. Most recently Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner showed off their beautiful selves for the release of Eclipse. Kristen showed up in an amazing J Mendel number that she wore to its utmost. They were in Rome and you know what they say about “when in Rome” but Kristen has a beau so that angle is out.

Cannes Celebs Burst Out in Fashion!

This year’s Cannes International film festival was as always brimming with stars. The outfits they wore were fantastic with so many paparazzi clicking away as they came and went from the showings. Interjected into the festival Mick Jagger and Paris Hilton hosted the AMfar Cinema Against Aids benefit. The proceeds from the event went to the foundation. We all got the treat of so many stars stepping down the red carpet in the latest black tie and beautiful gowns. I enjoyed the flowing gown that Fan Bingbing wore and the tux on Gerard Butler was very suave. It was a wonderful night for the beautiful people to help a worthy cause.

Lady Gaga showed up on the kick them off episode of American Idol tonight and of course she blew it out again! Her look was leaning toward the Latino feel of her new single ALEJANDRO. Surrounded by a scantily clad dance troupe she rocked it and made you feel the wanna’ be Idols could never hit her mark.

I love how she always has something different to wear and

I was a little concerned how her nearly naked and suggestive outfits might go over on a prime time audience.
She wore a black flower shaped bra and t-back panties to match but it was covered with a black lace that made it seem almost formal even though you could see her body easily.
Lady Gaga is always a treat once I found out that she was not just a one trick pony and she continues to delight!

Madonna the ageless singer from the 90′s has been impressing audiences for years with her surprising outfits in her performance productions. Known for her ragged jeans and fingerless glove look in her movie Who’s That Girl she has started a clothing line with her daughter Lourdes as designer. It is interesting that Madonna really did not push her daughter to become a designer but credits her friend Stella McCartney for nurturing Lourde’s or “Lola” as she is nicknamed, interest in design putting a sketch pad in her hands at a young age and inviting her to her studio for a close up look at the fashion world. We will all see soon if the new Material Girl line pays off at the cash register as the clothing is to debut this fall. Watch out for curly hair in headbands next!

Lindsay Lohan definitely lit up the latest fashion show by Emanuel Ungaro fashion house in Paris recently. She showed in a super short minis and also blazers over nothing but what God gave her. Oh and a couple of nipple pasties.

“It’s not good to show your nipples so they should be covered,” Lohan giggled, referring to the heart-shaped pasties with a wink toward her paparazzi pictures showing her nipple exposure. The joint design and styles were thigh length dresses in hot pink, peach and white. The look seemed destined for a beach party but is extremely trendy and cute in my opinion. They are going to predicate that you better have nice thighs so don’t forget to hit the health club. These ladies could afford for private charter jets just to do shopping visit to Paris.

Vintage Fashion on the Road Show

Fiona Bruce is a presenter for the Antique Road Show and she has recently debuted or should I say re-debuted 1970s fashion. Her claim is that 30 years is long enough to constitute antique when it comes to clothing and who is to argue? The resurgence of trendy hippy ware and the pop art patterns has been going on for some time. So why not pull out your grandparent’s old trunk and start a new renascence of sorts. The clothing is bringing record prices and the British are leading the way once again with their version of the Road Show hosted by Fiona Bruce!

Personally, I can’t see myself in a lot of it especially since I am not terribly fond of wearing dresses but the minis with a pair of leggings definitely could find a way into my fashion eye. Fiona models a Pucci print that I can barely look at in this picture below but what do you think? Do you like it?

Pink has been bringing her fusion type performance to the stages of Europe and just arrived in the USA for a tour here. TheHollywoodGossip caught her outfit for one of her numbers and I can’t decide if that is her outfit or the waist bands from all the boys briefs she collected from the Euro groupies? I am worried about what that is crawling around her crotch area but hey she is a super star and given to extremes is in their DNA. But, her body looks like she have been trained muay thai gym in Thailand!

So what is your take on this “stunning outfit”? Call it fashion or faux pa?
